- The management and storage of data carred out by Special Eye Hospital still uses archives and computers as media. But this is still considered less effective, because it is difficult to do it whenever knowledge is needed. Knowledge stored in this media is only in the form of documents even thought other knowledge can be obtained from the experience or knowledge possessed by employees who have not been documented. All of this knowledge can be managed for agency needs in the long run. The development of a knowledge management system is carried out using a vector space model which is part of the search process to obtain the required documents and knowledge. Where each document and query will be represented as a vector space. With the development of this system it is expected to facilitate the management of knowledge at the Special Eye Hospital of South Sumatra Province.
