  • This research aimed to invent the floating technology of paddy cultivation media and determined the floating force coefficient that had square shape. This research was conducted on March 2019 up to June 2019. The method that was used in this research was descriptive method. The descriptive method like collecting the data through direct observation on field and the data will be showed in form of graphic and table. The parameter that was observed include the load calculation that could be hold by the raft, The floating force analysis calculation, and the water level after planting per week. The result of paddy floating cultivation media had 889.9 Newtons of the floating force. While the maximum load that can be hold by the raft was 90.7 kilograms with 18 buoys in total.The uprising of water level in the load adding trial was increased by 1 ul to 2 cm in average. The highest water level was on the 4th week by 6.7 cm of water level and the lowest water level was on preplanting phase by 5.1 cm.
