The population of this study were all of 10th grade social sciences students in State Senior High School 1 Tanjung Raja in the even semester of 2018/2019. The sampling technique was conducted randomly and used cluster random sampling, so it’s obtained second 10th grade social sciences as experimental grade and fourth 10th grade social sciences as control grade. The data were collected by test and observation. The data analysis techniques on the students learning results data were obtained from the post test and grouped into the Minimum Completion Criteria category and the data observation analyses were obtained from observer’s observations during the learning process. The hypothesis used parametric statistics with pearson product moment correlation that was obtained as much as 0.91 which was very strong value and the effect of magnitude of X variable to Y variable with the determinant coefficient formula as much as 83.7% and the results of the t test used polled varians, tcounted 26.79 ≥ ttable 2.000 mean Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It could be concluded that there was the effect of learning contracts as active learning strategies on the students learning results in economic subject in State Senior High School 1 Tanjung Raja.
