- This research is titled “Social and Economis Change after the road construction in H. M Noerdin Pandji Street (A Study of People in Sukamaju, Sako Palemban, 54)”, of the included the social interactions, educations, crimes, well-being, jobs, and earning. The aim of this study is to know and elaborate the social and economic change The method in this study is qualitative to describe the real science portrait, which is the writer is the key instrument. The data collections was collected by direct observation, documentation, deep interview to 10 informant that were from: 2 district area, 8 local people at RT 54, Sukamaju, Sako Palembang. The theory of this study is from Piotr Sztompka's theory. The result of this study is there was a social change for the local people in H.M Noerdin Pandji Street, the way of their thinking were more modern and developed, and because of that, the people there now have more variety of jobs, and they probably can be more well-being.
