  • This e-Voting policy research was carried out because there were still frequent problems in the selection of Village Heads in Musi Rawas District, namely the lack of e-Voting equipment and a lack of public understanding of e-Voting Village Chief elections. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of e-Voting policies in the selection of Village Heads in Musi Rawas District. The method used in this study is a qualitative method which is a method that is carried out by collecting, preparing, and analyzing data so that it gets a clear and answerable picture of the problem under study. The theories used were Donald van Matter and Carl Van Horn with the dimensions of policy standards and objectives, resources, disposition or implementing attitudes, characteristics of implementing agents, communication between organizations and social, economic and political environments. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the e-Voting policy in the selection of Village Heads in Musi Rawas District has been well implemented. However, it is still not transparent in the costs of implementing e-Voting, and there is still a lack of resources for facilities and infrastructure, in this case, the lack of e-Voting devices. Suggestions for these problems can be carried out by continuing this policy in the following years, and it is even hoped that the e-Voting system can be used immediately in the election of Regional Heads and the Presidential election. And improve the development of information technology to balance the increase in human resources and resources of facilities and infrastructure so that the services provided to the community can be more maximized.
