PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN BAWANG DAUN (Allium fistulosum L.) MENGGUNAKAN IRIGASI KAPILER DENGAN DIAMETER DAN PANJANG SUMBU BERBEDA
Daftar Isi:
- This research was aimed to determine the effect of wick length and wick diameter on capillary irrigation performance to support the production of onion (Allium fistulosum L.). The research was conducted in November 2018 until May 2019 in Greenhouse and Biosystem Laboratory of Agricultural Technology, Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. This research used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAKF) with two factors. The first factor was the wick diameter (D), and the second factor was the wick length (L), and each repeated was three times. The research parameters were consisted of the capillary rate, number of leaves, height of plant canopy, weight of fresh stover, and weight of dry stover. This research conclusion is capillary irrigation system with 8 mm in 70 cm produced the highest value of capillarity rate of 17.29 mm/day, average leave numbers of 5 sheets, plant canopy height of 31.95 cm, fresh stover weight of 8.94 g and dry stover weight of 0.75. The lowest were found on 8 mm in diameter and 60 cm in length treatments with capillarity rate of 16,66 mm/day, average leave numbers of 4 sheets, plant canopy height of 25.18 cm, fresh stover weight of 3.99 g and dry stover weight of 0.34 g.
