Instagram is one of the media favored by many people today. Especially in the delivery of news to the public. Like the Instagram account @Palembangterkini that conveys a variety of news to the people of Palembang in fulfilling the news every day. The purpose of this research is to find the level of satisfaction by the use of Instagram @Palembang social media account in meeting the news needs of followers in Palembang.the theory used in this research.the research is descriptive qualitative research,which uses servey method and questionnaire as the medium.The respondents are followers instagram @Palembangterkini. Based on the results obtained from respondents' answers regarding the use of the @Palembangterkini Instagram account in fulfilling the news needs of followers in the city of Palembang as a whole depicts very good.
