- This study aims to find out more clearly how the form of empowerment provided by PT. Melania follows with supporting factors and inhibiting factors, to the community of Toy Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin District III. Primary data sources in this study are data obtained directly from the results of interviews with informants or informants who are considered potentially in providing relevant information. Secondary data sources come from data obtained based on references or literature related to research problems. The validity of the data is tested by triangulation. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis techniques, namely research that aims to describe and describe the problems studied in the form of words or sentences with qualitative methods. This study uses the theory of community empowerment from Edi Suharto. In the determination of informants carried out purposively with the aim of getting more in-depth information in accordance with the problem of research. The results of the study show the form of empowerment carried out by PT. Melania through a CSR program in Desa Mainan, namely Charity (social assistance). Social assistance that is not continuous and selective aims to protect against the possibility of social risks. The inhibiting factor in this empowerment is the lack of public knowledge. The supporting factors in this empowerment come from within the community itself and also the role of the toys village which always coordinates the running of the CSR program.
