  • The study aimed to prove the effect of take and give learning model on students learning results in economic subject in State Senior High School 1 Tanjung Raja. This was experimental study that used quasi experimental design in post-test only control design. The population of this study were all of 11th grade social study students in State Senior High School 1 Tanjung Raja as much as 108 students. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling and the selected sample were third 11th grade social study with a total of 28 students as experimental grade and first 11th grade social study with a total of 27 students as control grade. The data were collected by test and observation. Data analysis techniques were used to determine learning results by using post-test and observation data to see the syntax of the learning model and prerequisite tests used data normality tests and data homogeneity tests. The hypothesis used parametric statistics, namely the t-test ( polled variance) and it was obtained t_counted (4,58) ≥t_table (2,0073) so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It could be concluded that there was the effect of take and give learning model on students learning results in economic subject in State Senior High School 1 Tanjung Raja. The suggestion of this study is in applying take and give learning model, the teachers should guide the students who have difficulty in understanding the subject of the control card that they got so there is no error in delivering information when they take and give.
