PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN MENGGUNAKAN BUKU “MEMBACA DAN MENULIS PERMULAAN DENGAN METODE IQRO” TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA KATA BERMAKNA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS 1 SD NEGERI 238 PALEMBANG

- His study aims to determine whether there is the influence of textbook "Reading and Writing Beginnings with Iqro Method" to the ability to read meaningful words of students class 1 SD Negeri 238 Palembang. This research uses Quasi Experimental Design Experimental method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. Samples in this research are 15 students of experimental class and 15 students of control class. The research instrument is a reading test of letters, syllables, words, simple sentences and short texts. The effect of textbooks seen from the mean of posttest of control class is 63 and the posstest data of experimental class 74,7. Pretest and posttest data of the experimental class are normally distributed with values of km -0.43 and -0.89. The pretest and posttest data of the control class are normally distributed with km values of 0.69 and 0.9. Data analysis in this study used the t-test separated variable obtained by ttable price = 2.04 while tcal2,46 with a significant level of 0.05. Because thitung> ttabelmaka Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, so it can be concluded that there is the influence of reading learning beginning with the book "Reading and Writing Beginnings with Iqro Method" to the ability to read meaningful words of students class 1 SD Negeri 238 Palembang.
