- This study aims to determine how the influence of job placement on employee job satisfaction at Institute For Quality Assurance Of Education of South Sumatra. The respondent of this study is the employees in Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (LPMP) of South Sumatra, which amount to 41 people. Sampling method from this research use random samples, thus the respondents of this study using the primary data obtained through questionnaires and analyze with simple linier regression analysis method. The results of the study shows that the job placement influencing the job satisfaction with amount to 55,4%. In order to make this job placement better and job satisfaction achieved, the institution should compare the qualification of the employee with the requirements in the job description before placing employee to the job
