- Zooplankton in waters are strongly influenced by the conditions of physical and chemical limits of the waters. In addition, the daily migration cycle of zooplankton day and night can also affect zooplankton community density and structure. The purpose of this study was to find the types and analyze the density and community structure of zooplankton, analyze zooplankton variability based on time differences and analyze the relationship of physical and chemical physic limits with zooplankton community structures in the waters of Sungsang Village, Musi River estuary. This research was conducted in November 2018. The zooplankton sampling process was carried out passively on the surface at 3 stations based on performance day and night-time. Data from the results of variability and zooplankton community structure were processed in Microsoft Office Excel software and to decide the relationship between physical and chemical limits of water with zooplankton community structure processed by PCA method at XLSTAT 2019. The results showed that zooplankton taxa composition density included 46% Copepoda, Malacostraca 31 %, 3% Ophiuroidea, 5% Annelida, Branchipoda 9% and Chaetognatha 6%. The range of variability in zooplankton abundance at night ranges from 20-428 ind/L and during the day ranges from 3-255 ind/L. Diversity index (H') is included in the criteria (Low), the uniformity index (E) is included in the criteria (High) and dominance index (C) in the criteria (Low). PCA analysis shows the relationship between physical and chemical limits of water with community structure of zooplankton at (daytime) with characteristics of temperature, pH, current, phosphate and diversity, at (night) with characteristics of current, pH, temperature, nitrate, diversity, uniformity and (day and night) with characteristics of temperature, pH, phosphate, abundance, diversity, uniformity and dominance.
