- This study has one main objective; to investigate about the effect of fraudulent fina ncial reporting through Beneish M - Score model on stock return especially in manufacturing company. The methodology used in this study is quantitative study, so the data are collected from secondary data by usin g n on probability – purposive judgment sampling technique of manufacturing company 's fi nancial s tatement u ploaded in Indonesia Stoc k Exchange which related to this study. The number of sample in thi s study are 72 financial statements of manufactur ing company in Indonesia fo r year 20 15 - 20 I 6. The result of this study show that the negative effect o f fraudulent financial reporting on stock return.
