- Business competition between construction companies is increasing from time to time. Each construction company is expected to improve efficiency and effectiveness of work in various aspect in order to compete in the long term. One of the ways is to make every employee know new knowledge because the success of a company is dependent on employees. Human resources are an important factor in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the company. In the construction companies heavy equipment knowledge is very important thing because in the work process construction company is inseparable with heavy equipment. Knowledge of heavy equipment needs to be managed in order to be used and searched for when needed again, so that it takes a space that will accommodate the heavy equipment knowledge. Case Based Reasoning (CBR) is one of the methods used to solve a problem by looking back at old problems that have similarities with new problems and using old problem solutions to solve new problems.
