Daftar Isi:
- Mangrove is one of the ecosystems that contains nutrients and organic used by microorganisms such as actinomycetes bacteria. They are positive gram bacteria that can produce bioactive compounds. The type of mangrove abundantly found in Tanjung Api-Api Waters is mangrove Avicennia alba. This study aims to isolate and identifiy Actinomycetes bacteria of A. alba mangrove in Tanjung Api-Api Waters, South Sumatra. This research was conducted from November to December 2018. The stages of isolation, macroscopic characterization, purification, gram staining, biochemical physiology characterization and identification of actinomycetes bacteria had been done In the Fish Quarantine Station of Fisheries Product Quality and Safety Control Palembang. The results showed that 4 isolates of actinomycetes were gram positive, generally varying in size, shape, edge, elevation shows varied, while the colors tend is whitish and not pigmented. Based on the results of macroscopic characterization and biochemical physiology, it could be classified 4 general of actinomycetes namely Mycobacterium and Cellulomonas were successfully isolated in leaves, Nocardia dissolve and Corynebacterium dissolve in A. alba roots.
