  • Descriptive qualitative research at title analysis media usage for classroom teachers of IV and V in learning mathematics in Primary School Number 24 Palembang have purpose to describe media usage for classroom teacher of IV and V in learning mathemarics, relate material with daily life, and adjust material with media used. The samples used in this study were all homeroom teachers of IV A, IV B, IV C, V A, V B, V C in Primary School Number 24 Palembang. Researchers used nonparticipant observation in data collection instruments, where researchers were not involved with observed activities but only as independent observers. The results of this study indicate that classroom teachers of IV and V have often used the media at the time of teaching, teachers also relate the material to daily life, it means the the first and second research objectives have been achieved. But on the third tesearch objective has not been achieved because the teacher does not adjust the material with the media. Hence it is expected that the teacher can adjust the material with the media used so that students can more easily understand the material being taught through the media used.
