  • This study aims to determine how the influence of local revenues, equalization funds, the GDP per capita and the number of poor people against government spending in Palembang. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the publication of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK). The analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression estimated by Ordinary Least Square (OLS). These results indicate that local revenues, equalization funds, the GDP per capita and the number of poor people together significantly affect government spending in Palembang. In partial local revenues do not significantly affect government spending in Palembang, while variable equalization fund, the GDP per capita and the number of poor people significantly affect government spending in Palembang. Variable fund balance and the GDP per capita forms of influence on government expenditure is positive, while variable number of poor form of influence on government spending is negative.
