- This study aims to determine the impact of the existence of PT. London Sumatra (Lonsum) on the socio-economic conditions of the Cengal Village community in Cengal District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The population in this study were 170 people who were permanently domiciled in Dusun III Cengal Village. Determination of the sample using probability sampling technique that is sampling cluster based on Isaac and Michael's table with an error rate of 10%, the sample amounted to 105 family heads. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. Then the data analysis uses descriptive statistics, to determine the impact of the existence of PT. London Sumatra (Lonsum) on the socio-economic conditions of the Cengal Village community in Cengal District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. From the results of data analysis and discussion it can be concluded that the impact of the existence of PT. London Sumatra (Lonsum) on the socio-economic conditions of the Cengal Village community in Cengal District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency has a positive impact with an average score of 75.5%.
