  • Information on air humidity is very important to support the smooth operation of various sectors such as transportation or flight transportation so that weather prediction is needed that can provide accurate weather information. One of the most widely used weather models for regional scale is the numerical weather model Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF). This study aims to determine the suitability of WRF output results with observation data. The research method used in this study that is by simulating atmospheric conditions using the WRF model then analyzed based on the parameters of the relative humidity of the WRF model to be compared with the ogimet data and observation data obtained from BMKG Palembang Climatology Station to determine the accuracy of the WRF model in capturing description of weather conditions in the area of coordinates of the observation. WRF visualization is obtained by processing the WRF output by using GrADS while the suitability test for ogimet data is obtained by looking for the MEA, RMSE, MAPE values. The suitability of the relative humidity parameters from the WRF output results with the observation data shows that the WRF computing system is good enough in predicting relative humidity in the Palembang area as seen from the error calculation.
