  • Television with various types and brands is now easily found in Indonesia. The many types and brands of television offered are often confusing consumers to buy a television that fits the criteria they want. Some of these criteria include: screen resolution, screen size, warranty time, price, many additional features, and panel types. The many considerations that must be considered before buying a television causes difficulties if done manually. One solution to help consumers in choosing TV is to use a television selection decision support system with a combination of Simple Multy Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. The combination of these two methods resulted in an accuracy value of 68% between the choice of television users and the television recommendations of the system results.
