- Smartphones are devices that are widely used by the community today, people use smartphones to perform various activities such as communicating, accessing social media, and seeking entertainment. Persons with visual impairments who have difficulty seeing will find it difficult to use a smartphone. Therefore, there comes an innovation of SmartVoice application that can help blind in smartphone usage. The purpose of the research is to know the diffusion of innovations utilization of SmartVoice application in the visually impaired in SLB A PRPCN Palembang. The theory used in this research is the Diffusion of Innovation Theory. This research is qualitative research and data collection by in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The result of this research is in the process of diffusion innovation Utilization SmartVoice application in SLB A PRPCN Palembang has been running well with several obstacles experienced by the prospective adopter.
