  • The research objectove was to determine the role of social support to job involvement at AIESEC organization in Sriwijaya University. The study hypothesis includes major hyphotesis on social support and minor hyphotesis on types of social support has a role to job involvement at AIESEC organization in Sriwijaya University. The study population was the member of AIESEC in Sriwijaya University totaling 60 members and used for the research sample. Social support and job involvement was measured by the scale of social support and job involvement, with reference to the types of social support from House (1981) and the dimensions of job involvement from Yoshimura (1996). Data analysis using multiple regression analysis. The result of the regression analysis on major hypothesis obtanied by value of R square = 0,512, and p = 0,000 (<0,05). On minor hypothesis obtained by value p = 0,49 on information support, and p = 0,27 on appraisal support. It shows that social support, information support and appraisal support have significant role to the job invovlement. Thus the major hypothesis was accepted but on minor hypothesis just the third and the fourth were accepted.
