- This research is to analyze about description revitalization of efforts to increase family income (UP2K) in empowering communities in the village of Perjito, Muara Enim Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method that systematically describes the facts and characteristics by providing an explanation of Community Participation in the revitalization program of efforts to increase the income of the family. This study uses the concept of Empowerment of Prijono and Pranarka, that is, humans are subjects of themselves. The process for the community to become empowered. That empowerment must be shown to the group or society itself. The focus of this research is community participation in the revitalization of family income improvement efforts. Data collection was obtained through direct observation at the research location and conducting in-depth interviews with nine informants. The results of this study indicate that the lack of participation from the community has made the revitalization less effective. Relation to the concept of empowering the people of Prijono and Pranarka where humans are the subject of themselves. The process for the community to be empowered, encourage and motivate individuals to have the ability or power to determine their life choices. Revitalization,Participation, Society, empowerment.
