- The research objective was to determine the relationship between self confidence with achievement motivation on Karigamas Sport-Club members. The research hypothesis is, there is a relationship between self-confidence and achievement motivation on Karigamas Sport-Club members. The sample was the members in Karigamas Sport-Club as many as 115 people through purposive sampling technique. The scale used was prepared by the researcher, is the scale of self confidence, with reference to the neat theory of Peter Lauster's self-confidence (1976), and the achievement motivation scale which refers to the characteristic theory of McClelland's achievement motivation (1987). The results of the study were analyzed using moment product correlation analysis. The results of hypothesis is accepted, that there is a relationship between self-confidence and achievement motivation in Karigamas Sport-Club members with F = 0.767 and p = 0.000.
