  • Research on Diversity of Amphibious Types of Anura Order in Mandiangin Subdistrict of Sarolangun Regency of Jambi Province was conducted. This study aims to determine the diversity of amphibians in Mandiangin subdistrict, to know the difference of amphibians in Mandiangin sub-district with other research, and to know the diversity of amphibians in different places. The research was conducted in five different places, consisting of: Primary Forest, Secondary Forest, Rubber Garden, Palm Garden, and Acacia Garden. The method used in data retrieval is Visual Encounter Survey (VES). Specimens were captured by hand directly and using capture nets. Data analysis was done descriptively and statistically to calculate species diversity (H ') and evenness type (E). The results of the study found nine species of amphibians belonging to three Familia namely Familia Bufonidae (Bufo melanostictus and Bufo Biporcatus), familia Ranidae (Huia sumatrana, Rana chalconota, Rana erythrea, Rana nicobariensis, Fajervarya cancrivora, and Limnonectes macrodon), and familia Rhacophridae (Polypedates leucomystax). Compared with the results of other studies, the number of species found in Mandiangin subdistrict Sarolangun district of Jambi Province is less. Amphibian diversity in Mandiangin sub-district is highest in secondary forest (H '= 1.719), followed by primary forest (H' = 1,641), acacia plantation (H '= 1,637), oil palm plantation (H' = 1,553), and the lowest is the rubber plantation (H '= 1,482). The result of the research is expected to be used as the initial information for the next research as well as become the source of learning on the learning of Biology in the grade X Second semester in Basic Competence 3.2.
