THE EFFECT OF INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL TO THE MARKET VALUE

- The purpose of this research is to investigate empirically the impact of intellectual capital to market value. The independent variable applied in this research was the intellectual capital which was measured model by Pulic (1998). The dependent variable correlated it to market value is measured by using price to book value (PBV). The sample method in this research is purposive sampling method and the samples are 38 banking companies as the item of observations that were taken from annual reports listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2017. Data analysis tools used multiple regression with SPSS 22 as the software program. The results of this research showed that human capital and structural capital has significant effect to the market value (PBV), meanwhile capital employed and intellectual capital has not significant effect to the market value (PBV).
