  • This study aims to find out information about the influence of the application of learning model double loop problem solving on learning outcomes of students class X IPA SMA Negeri 9 Palembang on biodiversity. This research is an experimental research, which uses pre experimental design, with One Group Pretest-Post-test Design. Population in this research all class X IPA SMA Negeri 9 Palembang. The sample of this study using Cluster Random Sampling, so selected class X IPA 1 as experimental class which amounted to 36 students. Techniques of collecting data using tests and nontes are documentation, observation and questionnaires. Analysis of the result t-test significance value at X IPA class equal to 0 000 0 0505. Then Ho is rejected and Ha declared accepted. So it can be concluded that the learning model double loop problem solving has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 9 Palembang on biodiversity.
