  • This study aims to obtain information about the effect of applying cooperative learning model type CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading and Composition) to students learning result in material biodiversity class X SMA Negeri 1 Lawang Kidul. The research method used Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The data was collected from class X MIA D with 27 students. Based on the results of the analysis of learning result test, obtained the average score from the initial test was 45 and 55,5 for the final test which indicate that the final test score was greater than the initial test score. Based on t-test analysis of learning result obtained the significance value < 0,05 is equal to 0,000 which means Ho is rejected. This shows that the CIRC cooperative learning model has a significant effect on students learning result.
