VALIDASI METODA POTENSIOMETRI UNTUK ANALISIS LOGAM KADMIUM (Cd) DALAM AIR LINDI
Daftar Isi:
- Testing of metal cadmium (Cd) using a potentiometric method using a concentration cell measurement system and a comparable cell measurement system was carried out. The purpose of the study was to validate, compare the validity level of the two systems, and their application for the determination of Cd metal in leachate at Sukawinatan landfill. The concentration cell measurement system consists of a solution of CdSO4.8H2O with different concentrations, in which there is a Cd electrode connected by a voltmeter and the two solutions are connected by the KNO3 salt bridge. While the comparative cell measurement system consists of two solutions of CdSO4.8H2O with different concentrations, in which there is a Cd electrode and a comparative electrode (Ag/AgCl) connected by a voltmeter and the two solutions are connected by the KNO3 salt bridge. The results showed that the same correlation coefficient of 0.999 with a concentration range of 1x10-2 to 1x10-6 mol/L, obtained %RSD value from the same two systems of 0.1%, with an average value of 91% accuracy (system concentration cell measurement) and 81% (comparative cell measurement system), then the LoD value obtained by the method of cell measurement system concentration of 0.20 mg/L and LoD method of comparison cell measurement system 0.19 mg/L. Based on the T test and the F test, the concentration cell measurement system is more valid than the comparison cell measurement system. The concentration of metal cadmium (Cd) was analyzed using the cell system concentration in ponds 1 to 5 as follows 105 mg/L ± 15.39 mg/L, 70.48 mg/L ± 9.44 mg/L, 9.52 mg/L ± 1.01 mg/L, 1.94 mg/L ± 0.20 mg/L and 0.56 mg/L ± 0.06 mg/L.
