- Promotion as a function of human resource management activities has a very important role in increasing employee productivity. During this promotion in PT. Thamrin Brothers - Yamaha Belmundo Branch Palembang is basically still subjectivity because it is only done through recommendations from the employee's superiors such as employee superiors who only look at certain aspects. Seeing this problem, a decision support system (SPK) is needed that can help solve the problem. The promotion decision support system is expected to be able to overcome this problem by adjusting the weights and criteria. The method used to assist and support this decision making is the Analytical Hierarchy Process method (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method. This application can make the assessment and decision making process easier because of the support in decision making. In addition, employee selection made with this application can provide quite accurate results.
