PERBANDINGAN PERFORMA SEPEDA MOTOR TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN ROTOR MAGNET
Daftar Isi:
- Introduction: The old Vespa uses an AC ignition system (altenating current) where the magnetic rotor is very important because there is no battery in the Vespa and the old Vespa ignition system uses platinum before using the CDI. Some examples of ignition system problems that commonly occur on a motorcycle include: wasteful fuel and rotors rotation is not normal. Method: The method used in this study is descriptive method. This research was conducted in June 2019, in the workshop of MVK-Dynotest Racing Equipment Ratu Dibalau road, No.10 Blok AA, Tj. Senang, Kota Bandar Lampung, Lampung Province. The research object to be used in this study is a 150 cc VESPA motorbike, using Super VESPA magnets, VESPA PX magnets, VESPA Excel magnets, and RX-KING magnets. The data analysis technique used in the study used the results of Dynotest's observations to observe and record experimental results and then present them in table and line graphs that illustrate the difference between Standard Magnetic Rotor and 4 (four) different Magnetic Rotor for power, and torque on a 150cc Vespa motorcycle. Results: The VESPA Super (Platinum) magnetic rotor averaged the power produced at 7386 rpm to produce a power of 7.28HP. The VESPA PX magnetic rotor on average the power produced at 7685 rpm produces 6.97HP of power. The average VESPA Excel power produced at 7208 rpm produces 7.5HP. Testing of RX-KING magnetic rotors on average the power produced at 6292 rpm rotation produces 8.72HP of power. Conclusion: Motorbike performance using the VESPA Excel magnetic rotor has the highest rotation per minute seen from the power produced.
