PERENCANAAN BIAYA PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU PEMPEK DENGAN PENDEKATAN TEKNIK LOT SIZING DALAM MENDUKUNG SISTEM MATERIAL REQUIERMENT PLANNING (MRP)

- Pempek Sulthan Pindang Agan is one of the traditional food business of Palembang city that often faces problems related to the unstructured raw material inventory control system. The method used by the company is only based on previous experience without doing any forecasting or planning mathematically. The researcher will determine the result of forecasting the production demand and the total minimum inventory cost of lot sizing technique with total cost of actual inventory of company. Material Requierment Planning method using ARIMA forecasting method and two methods of lot sizing, consist of Lot For Lot (LFL) and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The total cost of raw material inventory control before using the MRP is Rp 2.935.736.350, while after using the MRP with lot sizing LFL technique is Rp 2.432.932.155 and with lot sizing EOQ technique is Rp 2.491.587.490. Thus, the results of the calculation by using two kinds of lot sizing methods show that LFL can make the lowest inventory cost. It means the company saves a fee of Rp 502.804.195. so the LFL method can be used to calculate the cost of raw material inventory of Pempek Sulthan Pindang Agan.
