APLIKASI METODE REDUCTION HEURISTIC PADA MODEL SET COVERING DALAM MENENTUKAN LOKASI SPBU DI KECAMATAN KEMUNING PALEMBANG

- Gas stations are the needs of users of motor vehicles, currently gas stations have been many found in the of Palembang City. Palembang city have 35 gas stations, located in 13 sub-districts in 16 sub-districts. It is also deemed necessary to conduct research in determining the location of gas stations optimally, so gas stations is in the exactly location and customers can use them easily. Location problems can be solved with the Set Covering Problem, one of them using p-median problem model. Reduction Heuristic is a heuristic method used to solve p-median location problems. This research only focuses on Kemuning Sub-district, because the location of the sub-district is in the center of Palembang. By using with reduction heuristic method we determined 3 location of gas station in accordance with location of gas stations now. From these results we obtained optimal gas station location is in the location of Ario Kemuning Village, Pahlawan Village, and Talang Aman Village while now only is in the village of Ario Kemuning and Village Pahlawan then the SPBU facility should be placed is in the Talang Aman Village.
