- The problem in this research is trash and air pollution is increasing from year to year which led to the environmental fenomenon in Palembang so that appearing movement environment conducted by Palembang Social Project. This study uses the Resource Mobilization Theory of McCarthy The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The information in the research as many as 12 peoples. Data collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study the form of movements performed Palembang Social Project to tackle the problem of trash and air pollution through the movement of the provision of knowledge environmental to adopt a green lifestyle, doing real action to tackle the problem of trash and air pollution with community participation Palembang, and has a partnership with the government and take on the role as a counterweight to government policy related to the environment. Next is the Palembang Social Project Strategy to mobilize in order to participate in overcoming the problem of trash and air pollution are utilizing social networks owned, the use of media, and the utilization of resources owned by Palembang Social Project.
