  • THIS STUDY AIMS TO EXAMINE THE DETERMINANT OF TRAVEL DRIVER’S WORK-TIME ALLOCATIONS THAT ARE AFFECTED BY VEHICLE OWNERSHIP STATUS, WORK EXPERIENCE, ROUTE DISTANCE, AND WAGE IN PALEMBANG. THE DATA USED IN THIS STUDY ARE SECONDARY DATA AND PRIMARY DATA WITH QUALITATIVE DESCRIPTIVE ANALYSIS METHOD USING CROSSTAB AND QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS WITH MULTIPLE REGRESSION ANALYSIS USING THE ORDINARY LEAST SQUARE (OLS) METHOD. THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT (1) VEHICLE OWNERSHIP STATUS IS THE MOST DOMINANT VARIABLE DETERMINING THE WORK-TIME ALLOCATION, THEREFORE THERE IS DIFFERENCE IN TRAVEL DRIVER’S WORK-TIME ALLOCATIONS BASED ON VEHICLE OWNERSHIP STATUS; (2) WORK EXPERIENCE HAS A NEGATIVE AND INSIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON TRAVEL DRIVER’S WORK-TIME ALLOCATIONS; (3) ROUTE DISTANCE AND WAGE HAVE A POSITIVE AND SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE TRAVEL DRIVER'S WORK-TIME ALLOCATIONS.
