- Background: Antenatal Care (ANC) is a key component for a healthy pregnancy. ANC aims to identify and treat complications as well as to improve the quality of life so that the number of MMR and IMR events can be reduced. The standard ANC untilization is at least 4 times per pregnancy, performed once at week 28th, once at week 26 – 38, and twice as often as over 36 weeks gestation (Prawirohardjo, 2014). Methods: This research is an observational analytic research using cross sectional design and the data retrieval technique is done by simple random sampling. The number of samples in this study were 50 samples according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data were collected using questionnaires containing 27 question items. The results were analyzed using Chi-square Test and Likelihood Ratio Test. Results: Women with completeness of ANC visits (74%), aged 20 – 35 years (76%), highly educated (60%), unemployed (64%), multipara (78%), knowledgeable (78%), low-income family (78%), close distance (84%), and husband/family support (96%). The value of p > α (0.05) in the variables of age, education, occupation, parity, family income, distance and husband / family support means there are no relationship between each variables and the completeness of ANC. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between knowledge and completeness of ANC visits, as evidenced by the value of p < α (0.05).
