ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR RISIKO LEUKEMIA LIMFOBLASTIK AKUT PADA PASIEN RAWAT INAP DAN RAWAT JALAN DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG PERIODE 1 JANUARI 2014-30 NOVEMBER 2017

- Introduction: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is a white blood cell’s malignant disease from bone marrow. There are several affecting risk factors which is age, sex, genetic condition as endogenous risk factors and chemical exposure, active and passive smoker, viral infection, EMR exposure, excessive weight, paint exposure as exogenous risk factors. The goal of this research is to analyze and knows the frequencies of distribution of risk factors affecting acute lymphoblastic leukemia in the patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang during January 1st 2014-November 30th 2017. Methods: This is a descriptive survey with cross sectional study. Population of this research is acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang for the period of January 1st 2014-November 30th 2017, amount of minimum sample is 42 persons. Patients data were obtained using interview technique with interview schedule and medical record data retrieval. Data were analyzed using univariate and crosstab. Results: From 42 participants, the majority of acute lymphoblastic leukemia risk factors are age < 20 years old (92,9%), male (81,0%), exposed to smoke (81,0%), had genetic condition (50,0%). The majority of risk factors distribution based on gender is male were exposed to smoke (64,3%) and female were exposed to EMR radiation (57,1%). The majority of risk factors distribution based on age group is < 20 years old were exposed to smoke (81,0%) and ≥ 20 years old were exposed to chemical (7,1%). Conclusion: The risk factors distribution of age, sex, genetic condition and smoke exposure had a high percentage with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang January 1st 2014-November 30th 2017.
