PENGARUH LAMA PERENDAMAN DAN LAMA PENGERINGAN PADA HIDROPRIMING BENIH PADI TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN AWAL PADI PADA KONDISI CEKAMAN TERENDAM = THE EFFECT OF RICE SEED HYDROPRIMING IMMERSION AND DRYING PERIOD TO EARLY GROWTH OF RICE SUBMERGENCE STRESS CONDITION
Daftar Isi:
- This study was aimed to determine the immersion time followed by the duration of drying to increase the resistance of rice plants in the initial phase of growth against submerged stress. This study was conducted from February to April 2018. The research was conducted in two places namely in soaking tub and in greenhouses. This study used a completely randomizeddesign with 8 treatments and three replications. The study consisted of 8 treatment, i.e. without hydropriming without submerged stress, without hydropriming with submerged stress condition, 12 hours of soaking and 12 hours of drying duration with submerged stress condition, 12 hours of soaking and 24 hours of drying duration with submerged stress condition, 24 hours of soaking and 12 hours of drying duration with submerged stress condition, 24 hours of soaking and 24 hours of drying duration with submerged stress condition, 36 hours of soaking and 12 hours of drying duration with submerged stress condition, and 36 hours of soaking and 24 hours of drying duration with submerged stress condition. The result of hydropriming research followed by the drying time shows that almost all variables have real effect. Treament 24 hours of soaking and 24 hours of drying with submerged stress condition increased of seed germination, high seedlings 7 and 14 day after planting, long root 7 day after planting, fresh weight seedlings 7 and 14 day after planting, fresh weight root 7 and 14 day after planting, dry weight seedlings, dry weight root 7 and 14 day after planting and chlorophyll in soaking tub and in greenhouse.
