PERAN FORGIVENESS TERHADAP PERILAKU AGRESI PADA SUPORTER SEPAK BOLA DI PALEMBANG

- The purpose of research is to determine the role of forgiveness toward aggressive behavior on soccer supporters in Palembang. The study hypothesis is forgiveness has a role toward aggressive behavior on soccer supporters in Palembang.This research used non-probability sampling which is incidental sampling. The sample was the soccer supporters in Palembang as 150 people. Aggressive behavior and forgiveness were measured by scales from Buss and Perry (1992) and McCullough (2000). Simple regression analysis was used for data anaysis.The result of the research shows that forgiveness has a role toward aggressive behavior, with p = 0,000 and R square = 0,356, which means the magnitude of the roles forgiveness in influencing aggressive behavior is 35,6%, while the rest is the other variables. Thus the hypothesis is accepted.
