ANALISIS HUBUNGAN KEMITRAAN PUSKESMAS DAN SEKOLAH DALAM PENCEGAHAN MALARIA PADA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH DI KABUPATEN SELUMA PROVINSI BENGKULU

- Background: The partnership of Puskesmas (Community Health Center) and school to improve the health of school-age children known as the Trias UKS(school health unit) program.The success of this program depends on partnership between Puskesmas and school in their work areas. In Seluma only have 7.69% of school have a room for UKS. This study aims were to analyzed the Puskesmas and School Partnership in Prevention of Malaria to school-age children in Seluma. Methods: This study was used a mix methods research and was done in March – April 2019. The samples were 71 children with simple random samplingand 25 UKS teachers with total sampling. The research informants consisted of 5 teachers and 2 UKS officers with purposive sampling. The data collection for quantitative used questionnaires and observations.Qualitative methods was used secondair data, FGDs, and in-depth interviews.Results: Results showed that are 31% malaria. There are 52% schools had a lacking partnership with the puskesmas. There are 76% schools don’t have any room for UKS. Analysis showed there was relationship knowledge of teacher school health unit with p-value = 0.008. There was relationship between partnership of puskesmas and school to prevention malaria with p-value = 0.030. From the qualitative results, it was found that the implementation of the trias UKSwas still a routine activity. Conclusion: the partnership between puskesmas and schools has not been implemented properly, only if there was visited from puskesmas. The partnership between the puskesmas and the school has not referred to principle of partnership.
