  • The The research was conducted in April 2019 until completion in the village of Payo Bay of Banyuasin II District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera. Research aims to test the performance of the filter machine (Rotary Screen) in the processing of coconut fibre powder (Cocopeat). Research using a descriptive method with three times the same sample that is done is weighing 10kg of coconut fiber with the same speed of rotation. In research present data using tables and graphs. The parameters observed in this research are tool working capacity, fuel requirements and the yield of the filtration. The result of the filtering of coconut coir powder to cocopeat of 80.67%, while the fiber is not filtered by 19.33%. The effective capacity will increase when the speed of the engine is increasing, because the high speed of engine rotation will be faster in the process of sieve coconut fiber and produce more cocopeat. The high low value of the yield can be one of the success criteria of a production process. The fuel consumption used is 0.3 liters/hour
