  • Caesarean section is a surgery through abdomen wall and uterus to give birth an infant. This research was aimed to look at drug related problems that occur in caesarean patients in the installation of inpatient Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital Palembang in 2018. This study was conducted by prospective data retrieval and analized by descriptive analysis during September – November 2018. There were 62 samples obtained with 58 samples were included in the inclusion criteria. Inclusion criteria is patient with all age range hospitalized in Shafa ward after caesarean section. From the result, caesarean section patients at Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital, the largest age is 20 – 35 years (82,75%) and patients hospitalized for 3 – 5 days. Group of drugs given to patients caesarean section is a class of anti-infective, analgetics, obstetrics and ginecology, nutritional medicine, and other drugs. Result of this research show that number of each DRPs was known 94,83% of the therapy as indicated, 100% of the medication as indicated, 100% precise drug selection, 100% of patients receiving the drug, 100% no DRPs subtherapeutic dosage, 100% no DRPs over dosage, 93,11% of no drug side-effects, and 100% of no harm drug interactions.
