STRUKTUR FISIK DAN STRUKTUR BATIN PUISI NYANYI SUNYI KARYA AMIR HAMZAH: IMPLIKASINYA BAGI PENGAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA

- This study was aimed to describe the used of diction, imagery, concrete words, figurative language, themes and mandates contained in Amir Hamzah's Nyanyi Sunyi poetry and its implications towards Indonesian language teaching. The problems of this study were how to use diction, imagery, concrete words, figurative language, themes and mandates in Amir Hamzah's Silent Singing poetry. This study used a descriptive method. The data source was Amir Hamzah's Nyanyi Sunyi poetry, published by Dian Rakyat, Jakarta in 2008 printed on XV, first published in 1941. In this study the data collection used note taking technique. Data analysis of this study used library analysis technique. The results showed that there were 488 diction, 108 images, 122 concrete words, 61 figurative languages, 25 themes in Amir Hamzah's Silent Singing poetry. Four hundred eighty eight diction. One hundred and eigh images included, (1) visual images, (2) palpable images, (3) olfactory images, (4) motion images, and (5) auditory images. One hundred twenty two concrete words include, (1) concrete words, and (2) concrete words absent. Sixty-one figurative languages include, (1) simile, (2) metaphor, (3) personification, (4) hyperbole, (5) hypocronymes, (6) alusio, (7) synechdoke, (8) sarcasm, (9) depersonification, (10) metonomia, (11) antonomia, (12) irony, and (13) cynicism. Twenty-four themes. Of the 488 dictionaries found, the dictionaries with the most language vocabulary were found. Whereas from the 108 images found, the images that the most often found were images of touch, and motion images. The 122 concrete words that the most often found were the meanings of concrete words, which were the least found in the abstract meaning of concrete words. Furthermore, from 61 figurative languages found, the most found majas were majas simile and majors of personfication and majors which have not been found the most were majas alusio, majas sarcasm, hipokronsime majas, and majek sinekdoke. And the last of the 25 themes found, the most common theme was the theme of Godhead.
