KONFLIK EKSTERNAL DALAM NASKAH DRAMA MEGA-MEGA KARYA ARIFIN C. NOER DAN IMPLIKASINYA BAGI PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA DAN SASTRA INDONESIA DI SMA

- This research focused on problems related to external conflict. This research aims to described the form of external conflict, the factors that caused external conflict, and how to resolved external conflicts that occur in the Mega-Mega drama script by Arifin C. Noer. This research used descriptive analysis method and literary psychology approach. The data source of this research was the Mega-Mega drama script by Arifin C. Noer. The data collection techniques of this research used reading techniques and recording techniques. The instrument of this research was the researchers themselves because the research carried out was a literature study on the types of literary works in the form of drama scripts, namely Mega-Mega by Arifin C. Noer. The result of this research showed that: Examples of external conflict, namely: (a) physical conflicts totaling 4 conflicts, namely conflicts that amounted to 5 conflicts, quarrels amounting to 11 conflicts, hatred amounting to 2 conflicts and anger which amounted to 2 conflicts. (b) social conflicts namely; differences in rights and defamation. Factors that caused external conflict, namely dissent 12 times, wrong character behavior 6 times, lie twice and injustice 1 time. Completion of external conflicts, namely: 7 times peace, figure departure 5 times and apologies 9 times. Key words: External conflict, drama script
