- This thesis is entitled “Perkembangan PTPN VII Pabrik Gula Cinta Manis Desa Ketiau Kecamatan Lubuk Keliat Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Tahun 2010-2018 (Sumbangan Materi Pelajaran Mata Kuliah Sejarah Perekonomian)”. The problems raised are How is the development of sugar cane processing and its marketing the results of PTPN VII Cinta Manis Sugar Factory in Ketiau Village, Lubuk Keliat District in 2010-2018, What factors influence the socio-economic development of workers at PTPN VII Cinta Manis Sugar Factory in Ketiau Village, Lubuk Keliat District in 2010-2018. the purpose of this study was to explain how the development of PT Manis VII Cinta Manis Sugar Factory in the village of Ketiau Lubuk Keliat District in 2010-2018 and explain what factors influenced the development of PT Manis VII Cinta Manis Sugar Factory in Ketiau Village, Lubuk Keliat Sub-District in 2010-2018. This research is a type of historical research, namely a systematic framework for gathering historical sources, by giving criticism and judgment in selecting facts to obtain truth and study them in written form. The approaches used are sociological, economic and geographic approaches. Based on the results of research on the development of PTPN VII Cinta Manis Sugar Factory the development of sugar cane processing is influenced by weather conditions. Furthermore, the marketing development of the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory PTPN VII which initially did not cooperate with Bulog, and since working with Bulog in 2013, marketing of products has expanded to Lampung and Bengkulu. Furthermore, price developments are increasing from 2010 to 2018. Some factors that influence the social and economic employees of PTPN VII include production, distributors and consumers, the conditions of sugar cane harvest, and the contribution of employees of PTPN VII.
