PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SOMATIS, AUDITORI, VISUAL, INTELEKTUAL (SAVI) TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI SISTEM KOORDINASI KELAS XI IPA SMA

- This study aims to determine the effect of the SAVI approach on students' understanding on conceptssystemconcepts of the XI IPA SMA class. The research method was Pre Experimental Design of the One Group Pretest-Posttest. Research samples using Simple Random Sampling. Data retrieval is done in class XI IPA 1 addressed on of 34 students. The data collection was collected by objective tests in the form of multiple choice questions, learning implementation observations and student response questionnaires.Analysis of the results of the research data using (SPSS 24), concept understanding data were analyzed by the Shapiro-Wilk test and t-test using the Paired Sample T-test.The results showed an increase of value on understanding of concepts (gain scores) on each successive indicator from the highest to lowest categories, namely interpreting (36,77), giving examples (35,29), explaining (27,94), summarizing (23,53), classifying ( 19,12), conclution (13,24), and comparing (11,77). Overall the n-gain calculation results show a value of 0.46 which is in the medium category.The results showed that there was a significant increase in understanding of concepts, with a significance value of 0,000. The results concluded that learning using the Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual (SAVI) learning approach can improve students' conceptual understanding of the material in the XI IPA SMA class XI coordination system.
