  • This study aims to produce short film media on classical guidance with academic procrastination material in Tanjung Raja 3 Senior High School valid, practical, and effective. The research method uses ADDIE research design and research models, consisting of (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were 35 students in grade XI Social 3 in Tanjung Raja 3 Senior High School. The research instrument used interviews, questionnaires, tests (pre test and post test). To find out the validity of two experts, namely material experts and media experts with comments and suggestions, it is appropriate to be tested with revisions as recommended. The practicality of the media includes interviews and questionnaires aimed at students during individual trials obtained an average percentage of 91% with very practical achievement categories and field trials obtained an average percentage of 88% with very practical achievement categories. While the effectiveness of the media by conducting a pre-test the average value of 37 categories is low and the post test average value is 81 high categories. Based on the above results, short film classical guidance with academic procrastination material can be used by Guidance and Counseling teachers in providing classical guidance to prevent and increase students ' insight on academic procrastination.
