PERAN PENYESUAIAN DIRI TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA SALAH JURUSAN DI UNIVERSITAS X

- This study aims to investigate the role of self-adjustment on learning motivation in mis-major students of University X. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a self-adjusting role on learning motivation in mis-major students at University X. The population of this study is mis-major students from 18 to 21 years old of University X. Total population is unknown. The sample consisted of 150 students and 60 students for the try-out. This study used quota sampling technique. Measuring instruments used in this study are Self-Adjustment Scale and Learning Motivation Scale referring to the adjustment characteristics theory by Schneiders (1960) and aspects of learning motivation theory by Weiner (2003). The data was analyzed using simple regression analysis. The result obtained by value of R= 0.704, R square= 0.496, F= 145.726, P= 0,000 (p<0,05). This findings suggest that self-adjustment has a significant role of 49,6% on learning motivation. Thus the hypothesis is accepted.
