Daftar Isi:
- This paper deals with development of prediction models for tool life when end milling titanium alloy, Ti-6Al4V using TiAlN-coated solid carbide tools under flood condition. Primary machining parameters such as cutting speed, feed and radial rake angle were used as independent variables. Three main models such as 3F-model, 1st CCD-model and 2nd CCD-model, were observed using response surface methodology (RSM) in determining the optimum cutting conditions for a particular tool life interval. ANOVA was applied to prove adequacy of the predictive models.
