  • Equipment that is use in substation, contains some hazard that are related to high voltage electricity, when it comes to routine maintenance tasks, worker are required to work on height, such as climbing on top of power transformer, which causes falling from heights and also being electrocuted. For this reason, risk and potential hazard needed to be done on power transformer routine maintenance. This research aims to identify risk and potential hazard using HAZOPS method on power transformer routine maintenance in PT.PLN (Persero) Transmission Implementation Unit Bogor. This research is using descriptive study with qualitative approach. Data collecting instruments use is interview guidelines, observation paper and HAZOPS worksheets. Sampling technique is using purposive random sampling then as the result determined that the source of information are 3 key informants and 3 informants. The obtained data then being analyzed descriptively and compared with standard that used, which is MIL-STD-882D standard. The results of the study show the identified hazards based on the stages of work are time, action, step, organization, etc. The risk analysis carried out showed that there was a combined total of 9 hazards found, risk ranking showed that there were 2 high risks, 2 serious risks, 1 medium risk and 4 low risks.
